Dr. Koffi Abotchi is distinguished Alumni of Global Peace and a specialist in American Studies from the Université de Lomé, TOGO. He is a part-time Lecturer at the Université de Lomé, Togo, and University of Ghana. He equally teaches in various institutions such as: Ecole Supérieure des Techniques Biologiques et Alimentaires, ESTBA (Advanced School of Biological and Food Processing Techniques), Université de Lomé, Institut Supérieur des Langues et des Affaires, ISLA (Advanced Institute of Languages and Business), in Lomé Business School, LBS, Institut Supérieur Privé de Management, IPM both at the Bachelor and Master’s Levels, Université Continentale de Librebille UCL and University of Ghana.
With a Doctorate degree in American Literature (April 2019) from the Université de Lomé he is mostly concerned with social justice issues, especially promoting education and fighting inequalities among humans. In this vein, he joined the Cheerful Child and Youth, CCY (Enfance et Jeunesse Epanouiees, EJE) in which he holds the position of General Secretary and the head of the Languages Department in 2016. In 2017, he was appointed the Country Director of the International Model Diplomats for Integrated Development, IMDID, in which he has served his community in organizing trainings and conferences both on the national scene and the international one. In October 2017, he attended the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow and Sochi, Russia. Consequently, he organized in August 2019 the Global Youth Diplomacy Conference at Kpalimé, Togo, with an audience coming from ten (10) African countries. Still with this vision of promoting social justice and an equal opportunity for all, he seized the opportunity in October 19, 2019, to be the moderator of the first Inter-generational Dialogue of Global Peace in Lomé, TOGO.
In July 2020, je was appointed the Embassador of Earth Regenerative Project –Sierra Leone, EaRP-SL, an organization that fights climate change and hunger through tree planting, especially fruit bearing trees. His current positions include Country Director for International Internship University, IIU, and Country Coordinator of Global Education Network, where he has just been promoted to the position of Deputy Continental Coordinator for Africa. In IIU, Koffi also chairs the Continental board of IIU and he serves as the Secretary General and Deputy Continental Conference Director.
Koffi spends countless amounts of his time coaching and mentoring several young people, especially students. He tiressly work for youth development and self-fulfillment. Moreover, he loves sharing his opinion and points of views and speaks and moderates several conferences locally and globally. As a matter of fact, he has been chosen as the administrator of the Ujamaa Funds Scholarships which support students in need with a project.
