In 2019 Global Peace hosted 25 Inter-Generational Dialogues (IGD) around the world between young leaders and their current decision makers on the challenges facing the global society, and what solutions could be developed to resolve them.
In 2020, Global Peace will convene 75 IGDs.
The findings from all 100 IGDs will then be included into the Global Peace Charter which will be delivered to the United Nations in 2020, as a declaration of the hopes and ambitions of young people from around the world.
On 13 November 2019, the Declaration of Intent to draft the Global Peace Charter was handed to the UN Under-Secretary General and Special Adviser for the commemoration of the UN 75th anniversary, Mr Fabrizio Hochschild-Drummond by Mrs Graça Machel.
