Dr Jessy Sanchez is a distinguished Alumni of Global Peace with a world-class and an excellent multilingual background in German, Spanish, Swiss German, English, French and Italian languages. Dr Jessy Sanchez has had an extraordinary career in promoting women in politics, an ardent activist with many awards in international cooperation’s operations and from international organizations. Her international conferences are legendary since she uses sign languages further and points out the inclusion of women in politics, youth and also people with a disability condition. She is a polyglot, writer, poet and an ambassador of peace and human rights. Her leadership is highlighted by a community of half a million women who work to empower women in businesses and financial freedom. She is the founder of the new Dominican women’s chamber of Commerce that promotes empowerment of Women in leadership, rural women with few resources as well as the rehabilitation of incarcerated women into the labour market, in Latin America.
Jessy did her Primary school education in San José School in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and Luberzen Schulhau, in Switzerland. Between 1986 – 1990, Jessy did her High school education at the Barchiller, Luberzen Schulhaus in Switzerland. Jessy later did her Diploma at the 8359 Dietikon / Switzerland. In the year 2000, Jessy obtained bachelor and Master degree in International Business and Political Science from the Adult Academy, Minerva University Institute in Zurich. Additionally, in 2009, Jessy further trained in a Master of Events and Sponsorship at the KV Business School, Zurich Business School, Switzerland and 2015 also obtained an MBA RRI in Diplomacy in Geneva, Switzerland. As an academically inclined personality, Jessy further obtained a Diploma in Political Marketing and Marketing electoral campaigns in 2022. She has also attended workshops in youth leadership and tourism.
Jessy has undertaken many social projects that includes the 2017 PRO Viva Dominican Switzerland Foundation that supported the Great Marathon Aid for the victims of floods in Puerto Plata. She also took part in Great Independence Day gathering of the Dominicans in 2017, and the Great Dominican carnival parade 2017 all in Zurich Switzerland. Jessy also took part in the International Day of Gender Non-Violence in 2018 and the Great Dominican Carnival Parade in 2018 in Zurich Switzerland. She also took part in the Talk and Apero ‘Government Works’ in Zurich Switzerland in 2019. Jessy was named Ambassador for Fespo in 2019 and Bernexpo 2019 tourism fair. In 2020, Jessy supported the Aid for food and supplies during the Pandemic in Dominican Republic.
In 2021, Jessy was named a Member of the WTO and WEF, World Trade Organization, Economic Forum World Cup in Switzerland. Jessy was also appointed Coordinator of programs for integration into the labour market of the Red Cross in Zurich Switzerland. She is a Columnist of the point of opinion topics socio-political and an Undersecretary of International Relations PLD, Women Coppal Member in the Listín Diario (Highly prestigious newspaper RD). In 2023, Jessy was an Electoral observer, OAS several countries in 2024 UN Liaison of the World Bank. Jessy is a part of the Salamanca University Link Higher education programs for LATM, a Women’s Empowerment Activist and Founder of the Dominican Women’s Chamber of Commerce. In recognition of her extraordinary efforts through her career development, community empowerment and international activism, Jessy Sanchez was awarded a Doctor Honoris Causa.
