Vilely Villarrue is an Alumni of Global Peace and a Panamanian International Relations graduate, committed to youth empowerment & convinced of the local action with global vision. As the Co-Founder of Ponte Pilas & Conecta, both rooted in the SDGs, she has spearheaded initiatives that enhance both soft and digital skills needed for the future among young people through innovative education.
Vilely Villarrue is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Social Science, Cooperation and Development of Latin America with a specialization in Sociology at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University within the Institute of Higher Studies of Latin America (IHEAL) in France. She has interned at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Panama and UNOPS, gaining key insights into global challenges. An alumna of the Aspire Leader Programme, supported by University of Harvard, Vilely Villarrue is an SDG 7 Academy Leader & active member of several youth-focused organizations such as National Youth Council on advancing youth engagement and sustainable development.
