Nicole (Wei-Tung), Ling is a diplomatic trainee, political activist, independent journalist, speaker, and entrepreneur in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and energy conservation. She is currently a student in Political Science and Digital Humanities at the University of Toronto. Nicole’s uses her platform to specialize in anti-human rights suppression under geopolitical uncertainty, women in peacebuilding and security, and youth involvement in politics and civic affairs.
As an entrepreneur, she focuses on AI’s application in the public and private sectors and the digitization of national and global governmental infrastructure. Nicole’s specialization in national defence and political organization opened the gate for her involvement in partisan parties both in Canada and Taiwan. Nicole is a youth advisor for the Canadian Council of Young Feminists for Senator Marilou McPhedran, KMT Youth on fintech regulatory sandbox innovation, young liberals and executives in over 10 political organizations.
Nicole also represents the voice of Asia-Pacific at YATA-NATO Canada and The United Nations on bringing awareness of Taiwan-strait security to the decision-making table. Nicole is also a co-founder of two start-ups on energy conservation and medical, record optimization. She has built vibrant entrepreneurial connections in Toronto and helped young leaders get involved and receive entrepreneurial mentorship and resources.
