GLOBAL PEACE APPOINTS PAULINA DONKOR AS ASSISTANT GLOBAL COORDINATOR FOR THE GLOBAL PEACE PARTNERSHIPS

Paulina Donkor is a young Ghanaian Nuclear Scientist who has passion for Non Destructive Testing using Nuclear Application. Until her appointment, Paulina Donkor was a speaker at the Global Peace Conference on Nuclear Disarmament and NPT Advancement in 2022. She was appointed programme coordinator of the same Conference in 2023 by Global Peace, and successfully organized the 2023 and 2024 editions of the conferences. Paulina was also the Summit Director for the 2024 Global Peace Youth Day Summit. She holds a Master of Philosophy degree in Nuclear Technology Applications in Petroleum and Mining Industries from the Graduate School of Nuclear and Allied Sciences of the University of Ghana in partnership with the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission.

Paulina also graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forest Resource Technology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Paulina has engaged in varying degrees of seminars, symposia and advocacy in nuclear related fields and attending a Conflict Management, Mediation and Negotiation Training on two occasions at the request of the ACCORD in Johannesburg in 2022 and 2023 in Pretoria, South Africa. Paulina was also selected as the Moderator for the Global Peace Human Rights Forum in December 2023. Paulina also attended workshops and made presentations on Non Destructive Testing in Vienna, Austria and in Berlin, Germany by International Atomic Energy Commission.  

The Conference on Nuclear Disarmament is designed to find innovative solutions to a nuclear free and harmless world towards assessing and analysing the challenges in advancing the SDG’S. The conference seeks to engage young leaders and stakeholders in government, private sector, academia, and civil society, on topical issues on Nuclear Technology and NPT that directly affects humanity and nuclear free world. The conference brings together experts, researchers, and professionals from around the world to discuss, share, and present their research, ideas, and experiences through global participation from diverse countries, cultures, and backgrounds, fostering international partnership for nuclear activities.
