In 2024, the world faced compounding crises: climate shocks, food insecurity, conflict, and shrinking civic space. Global Peace responded with one conviction: Peace grows when knowledge is shared.
Through our major global dialogues, we brought together youth, women, scientists, educators, students, diplomats, civil society, industry, and policymakers from 50+ countries to turn dialogue into action. These forums sought to generate new ideas and innovation for collective action building solutions today for the challenges of tomorrow.
In our efforts toward `Working Together for a Better World`, Kobla Asamani, Global Coordinator General of Global Peace, reminds us: “Peaceful coexistence is a moral choice and a shared responsibility to build peace and secure humanity’s future.”

2023 IMPACT SNAPSHOT
Throughout 2024, Global Peace convened Global Forums, hosting 50,000+ participants with 100+ Partner Organizations. This work culminated in 180+ knowledge products: policy briefs, position papers and action plans.
WHY KNOWLEDGE SHARING?
2024 tested global solidarity. Conflicts displaced millions. The climate crisis intensified. Food and water systems were strained. From classrooms to UN halls, from farms to policy tables, from student spaces to industry boardrooms, we connected people and ideas to advance human progress.
At Global Peace, we believe progress starts with conversation. Our 2024 strategy was simple: convene, document, and share what works so communities can adapt faster and policymakers can act earlier.
Our theory of change is clear: when people have access to evidence, stories, and each other, they choose cooperation over conflict. Peace is more than the absence of war. It is also the absence of poverty, unemployment, and inequality.

OUR 2024 WORK WAS DELIVERED ACROSS 5 THEMES:
1. Youth & Education
2. Women & Human Rights
3. Environment, Biodiversity, Food & Water
4. Health & Humanitarian Action
5. Peace, Security, Nuclear Disarmament & Global Goals
Each forum produced concrete outcomes that we are developing into policy briefs, position papers, and community action plans to share openly with our network and development partners.

Under the banner `Working Together for a Better World`, we placed special focus in 2024 on empowering Youth for Peace. Young people led. Global Peace invested in platforms for youth to learn, connect, and lead.
As we review the comprehensive work of 2024, Kobla Asamani, the Global Coordinator General of Global Peace reflects: “Knowledge is our most renewable resource for peace. When we share it freely, we advance not just projects, but people. That is how we secure humanity’s future together.”
