On 21 June 2019, Global Peace met with our colleagues from JCI New Jersey at the residence of Ambassador H.E Jerry Matthews Matjila, South Africa’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations.
JCI New Jersey was formed on the 1 May 1949 and has since played an active role in the greater state of New Jersey. The organisation is affiliated with the global JCI organisation which has a network of over 200,000 members, 5000 local organisations and 1000 national organisations. We look forward to working with our colleagues at JCI New Jersey in the implementation of the Global Peace Inter-Generational Dialogues in New Jersey.
The meeting was hosted H.E Matjila, who provided insights of the UN agenda and engaged on the importance of the Inter-Generational Dialogues. We extend a warm thank you H.E Matjila for being our gracious host, and we were honoured to discuss with him the global challenges that face our world.
