On 21 June 2019, Global Peace met with the Office of the UN Youth Envoy in New York City.
The UN Youth Envoy was formed with a key focus on advocating for the empowerment of underprivileged and marginalised youth. The Office also works to recognise the contributions of the youth the world over towards the advancement of worldwide sustainable development and to ensure these works are given their opportunity to impact on those who need it.
The meeting focused on Global Peace and the Inter-Generational Dialogues and the role that young people need to play in discussing and shaping the future of the world and in addressing the challenges facing us all.
